About the Alliance Health Scholarship Program
Scholarship funding is available for the full TTS or Short Course Trainings to providers who are contracted with Alliance Health, and to pharmacy providers contracted with pharmacy benefit manager Navitus Health Solutions providing pharmacy services to Alliance Health’s population. Alliance Health is the tailored plan which serves people in North Carolina's Cumberland, Durham, Harnett, Johnston, Orange, Mecklenburg and Wake counties who are insured by Medicaid or are uninsured. Our network of providers offers treatment and support for mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Alliance Health is seeking medical, behavioral, pharmacy and public health professionals, as well as anyone providing services to individuals with tobacco use disorder to apply for a “No Cost” Scholarship for a Comprehensive Tobacco Treatment Specialist Training or CE Short Course provided by Duke-UNC TTS. This includes increasing pharmacy participation in the Statewide Protocol for Nicotine Replacement Therapy Provision.
All courses are 100% online and interactive for the best learning experience. Individuals receiving a scholarship must commit to completing all requirements of the Duke-UNC TTS Training Program. Please see the available training dates and application deadlines in the gray box below.
